HaMaor was established over 60 years ago by Rabbi M. Amsel zt”l. His dream was to create a monthly scholarly publication that discussed the Halachic issues of the time. The articles would be scholarly contributions from the leading Gedolim of the generation. In the beginning it was slow going… but Rabbi Amsel zt”l persisted and Thank G-d today, over 60 years later, we can all benefit from this massive unique collection – a veritable history of Halacha and Events that impacted Am Yisroel since the end of World War ll. This Library today is Encyclopedic in scope and has over 16,000 pages – and covers over 6,000 topics. All contributing authors are listed with their Rabbinic Positions. Back Issues in print are $10 each. Monthly Print Subscriptions are $36 per year. The Otzar HaMaor software program contains all 60 Years of HaMaor and represents an excellent value.
