As early as the 1950’s, certain Jewish pre-schools in England and the United States began incorporating Montessori methods and materials into their classrooms. Over the years, these pioneering teachers began developing Jewish Themed materials for use in Montessori-inspired classrooms, but they were still very much on their own. All materials were designed by Dini Freundlich, who is both a Certified Montessori Educator and Licensed Traditional Teacher. Over the past five years, she has tested these and similar materials with her students and has had wonderful results. Our products are designed specifically for a Jewish Montessori classroom, however all of our educational materials can be seamlessly incorporated into a traditional classroom, Junior Congregation, or home-school setting.
